Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. LabelSieveAI has no accounts, no sign-in, and collects no personal information like your name or email. Your device is identified only by a random, anonymous identifier stored on your device.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → LabelSieveAI → Cancel Subscription. Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID and can't be canceled from within the app itself.

I reinstalled the app (or got a new device) and lost my Premium — how do I get it back?

Open the menu (☰) and tap Restore Purchases. This checks your Apple ID's real purchase history and reactivates Premium if you have an active subscription.

Why is a product's health score inaccurate?

Scores are generated by AI based on ingredient data, and can occasionally be wrong or based on outdated product formulations. Always check the physical product packaging for the most accurate, current information, especially for allergens.

Why can't the app scan my barcode?

Make sure the barcode is well-lit, in focus, and fully visible in the camera frame. If scanning still doesn't work, you can upload or take a photo of the ingredients label instead, and the app will read the text directly.

Is LabelSieveAI a medical or allergy-detection tool?

No. LabelSieveAI is an informational tool only and does not detect allergens or verify food safety. Always read official product packaging and consult a healthcare professional for any allergy or medical concern.

I found a bug or the app crashed. What do I do?

Email us at lablesieveai@gmail.com with a short description of what happened and, if possible, what device and iOS version you're using. This helps us fix it quickly.
